PIGEON HOUSE (2020) -
SHORT FILM: CREATIVE DOCUMENTARY / DANCE FILM
Synopsis:
A father imagines for his daughter an architecture for the future within a structure of the past.
This work was conceived within a video-dance workshop by Silvina Szperling, Susana Temperley and other Latin American colleagues. Due to the lack of a possible physical meeting with professional dancers, I decided to find alternative themes and forms of videodance. In this opportunity I tried to focus on the gestures and the daily spaces, to capture a moment of reality and turn it into something else. I loved working with my father and finding an artistic dynamic with him, and the spontaneity of the result makes me want to continue pursuing those unique forms of movement that we all have.
